Pierre Kalulu has been presented with another opportunity as Davide Calabria has suffered another injury setback, a report claims.
As this morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews) reports, Calabria’s problem is not as serious as first though but he will not play against Hellas Verona on Saturday. However, Stefano Pioli is not worried as he will be able to call upon Kalulu, who has proven to be a reliable player for the Rossoneri.
The Frenchman has quickly learned Pioli’s system, demonstrating how useful he can be when called upon, but most importantly he has the personality as well as talent. Not only that, but he has the right physique to impose himself on the game.
Calabria can recover calmly in view of the Champions League match against Porto next midweek. Against Verona when the season resumes it will be up to Kalulu, a player of value who is enjoying the additional responsibility.
