Tuttosport: Pioli pondering five changes ahead of Salernitana game

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli is expected to make some changes to his starting line-up for the game against Salernitana tomorrow, a report claims.

According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Pioli should change his XI view of tomorrow night’s match against Salernitana compared to the last game against Spurs, which obviously took a lot out of the team from a mental and physical point of view.

The paper stats that Zlatan Ibrahimovic could start the game as a centre-forward allowing Olivier Giroud to rest, while Simon Kjaer, Alexis Saelemaekers, Ismael Bennacer and Charles De Ketelaere should also start from the first minute.

It is not stated who Kjaer would come in for but it will be either Fikayo Tomori, Malick Thiaw or Pierre Kalulu, while Saelemaekers would be the right wing-back in place of the injured Junior Messias, Bennacer would partner either Sandro Tonali or Rade Krunic and De Ketelaere would take the spot of Brahim Diaz.
