Tuttosport: Pioli relies on speed as Diaz and Leao will be key for Milan vs. Atalanta

By Isak Möller -

Milan are just three points away from securing Champions League qualification, but as they will face Atalanta tonight, it won’t be easy for them. After what has been a good season, they could still finish outside the top four.

As Tuttosport writes (via MilanNews), Pioli will rely on the speed of Rafael Leao and the fast movements of Brahim Diaz tonight. Now that Ante Rebic is injured, the goal is to change positions mid-game and surprise Gian Piero Gasperini’s men.

And if the game requires strength for Milan up front, then Pioli will be able to throw on Mario Mandzukic from the bench. The No.9 doesn’t have 90 minutes in his legs, otherwise he would have probably played the game from start.

The rest of the XI will be the usual one and the Rossoneri can only hope that this will be enough to beat Atalanta. In just 90 minutes, everything will be decided for them.
