AC Milan will field almost the exact same starting XI against Cagliari tomorrow as they did against Sampdoria, but therewill be one change.
According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews), the Rossoneri will have Ismael Bennacer on the pitch from the first minute. The Algeria international – after having come on during the second half against Samp – is motivated by the desire to take back that starting shirt that he missed so much.
The midfielder has worked intensely this week, showing that he is ready to take the place of Rade Krunic in the heart of the Rossoneri midfield alongside Tonali, with Kessie still injured. With Bennacer in the control room, the quality of Milan increases, with Pioli hoping to be able to count with greater consistency from a condition point of view.
In terms of the rest of the starting XI it should be Maignan in goal, Calabria and Theo as the full-backs, Tomori and Kjaer the centre-backs while in attack there will be Saelemaekers, Brahim Diaz and Leao, behind Giroud.
It will be Bennacer Krunic. Not Bennacer Tonali
