Tuttosport: The players involved as Milan strike up axis with Torino

AC Milan and Torino have been in talks over the last few weeks, but not just about one player. In fact, the two clubs have struck up an axis involving three players, a report claims.

It’s not exactly a secret that Torino are interested in Tommaso Ppobega, who spent the 2021/22 season on loan at the club with great success. Milan and Stefano Pioli decided to keep him for this past season, but now they could agree to sell him.

According to today’s edition of Tuttosport (see photo below), the players involved in the talks are Pobega, Junior Messias and Wilfried Singo. The Brazilian is one of the top targets for Il Toro and he could leave Milan for €3-5m, given his age and contract length.

As for Pobega, Torino are indeed interested and have made that known to Milan, who in turn have said that they will consider the sale. However, they are currently busy with other negotiations (some for the midfield) and will have to discuss the matter again in 14 days.

Finally, Singo has been named as a potential counterpart in the Pobega offer but as stated by the newspaper, Torino and Milan have both agreed that all the deals will be handled separately. At the age of 22, but with a contract expiring next year, the full-back has a price tag of €15m, but it could go down to €12m.

Some Premier League clubs are interested in Singo and Torino have assured Milan that they will have first right, able to match whatever offer arrives.
