AC Milan will be looking to bounce back from Thursday’s defeat to Lille in the best possible way when they host Hellas Verona on Sunday night.
Having had their unbeaten run in all competitions ended at 24 games by the French side, the visit of Verona gives the Rossoneri a chance to go four points clear at the top.
As reported this morning by Tuttosport (via MilanNews), this evening Stefano Pioli will welcome back two crucial players in Davide Calabria and Alexis Saelemaekers.
Calabria will start on the right side of the defence with Kjaer and Romangoli in the centre and Theo Hernandez on the left. In the middle of the field, Bennacer will return to partner Kessie.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic will start up front, supported by a trident including Saelemakers on the right, Calhanoglu in the centre and Leao on the left. Ante Rebic will start once again from the bench.
Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Donnarumma; Calabria, Kjaer, Romagnoli, Hernandez; Bennacer, Kessie; Saelemaekers, Calhanoglu, Leao; Ibrahimovic.
