Once AC Milan have completed their January transfer campaign they will look to lock up two pillars of the future, according to a report.
The Rossoneri have already secured the signings of Soualiho Meite from Torino and Mario Mandzukic, with Fikayo Tomori set to follow later today. However, it seems as though transfer business is not the only thing on the agenda as the contract situations of two key players need resolving.
According to Tuttosport (via il Milanista), Milan will address the renewals of Hakan Calhanoglu and Gianluigi Donnarumma soon.
Calhanoglu has always given priority to the Rossoneri, while the management have always expressed their confidence. The Turkey international is expected to sign a new deal while will see him earning a figure close to €4.5m net per season with bonuses.
As for Donnarumma, Mino Raiola has already rejected the first offer of €7m net per year and is asking for a ‘monster’ salary of €10m. In the coming days there will be a new meeting to seek an agreement.
