Tuttosport: Rangnick the driving force as Milan eye €25m Roma forward linked with Spurs

AC Milan are keen on the idea of signing Patrik Schick from Roma this summer, a report claims, with Ralf Rangnick endorsing the deal.

Luca Marchetti told Sky Italia (via MilanNews) on Monday night that Rangnick has specifically asked for three Bundesliga players in view of his new adventure in Italy, one of whom is Schick.

Calciomercato.com then added on Wednesday that Schick is indeed a target for the Rossoneri, with the management desperate to give Rangnick the attacking firepower necessary to make his transition to Serie A as seamless as possible.

The Czech international joined RB Leipzig last September on a paid loan for €3.5million with a €28m option to buy, and it is unknown whether they will exercise that.

He has not managed to nail down a spot in Julian Nagelsmann’s regular starting XI, despite netting 10 goals in 22 Bundesliga appearances.

According to what is being reported by Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Milan are looking for reinforcements for the attack in light of the increasingly likely farewell of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Among the profiles being examined is Schick, a player that Rangnick knows well given that he was of course brought to Leipzig last summer, a club where the German still has great influence.

Il Corriere dello Sport on Tuesday (via MilanLive) reprted that Roma are ready to sell Schick to the highest bidder. Talks have started with Tottenham, but at the moment the London club are not keen on paying the €25million asking price. Everton and Newcastle are more interested, the paper added.
