Tuttosport: Player ratings for Milan’s draw vs. Udinese – Kessie named as the flop

By Isak Möller -

There is one good word to describe Milan’s draw against Udinese last night: disappointment. While Inter’s draw against Genoa keeps them at the top, it also highlighted that the Rossoneri could have been four points clear.

Only a few players impressed last night as the Rossoneri failed to create a single clear-cut chance after Rafael Leao’s opener. As per Tuttosport this morning (via MilanNews), Leao and Sandro Tonali were the only ‘good’ ones for Milan with a 6.5/10.

The likes of Mike Maignan and Davide Calabria were spared criticism as they got a 6/10 but there were several that didn’t do enough. At 5.5, we find Fikayo Tomori, Alessio Romagnoli, Theo Hernandez, Alexis Saelemaekers and Olivier Giroud.

Meanwhile, Brahim Diaz was insufficient yet again and thus got a 5/10. Finally, Ante Rebic and Junior Messias got a 4.5 and the flop of the match, Franck Kessie, got just a 4 as he played without the effort we are used to.

The Ivorian was also criticised by Gazzetta Dello Sport in their column and it’s clear that the bench might be his next destination once again.
