Tuttosport: Real Madrid trequartista wants Milan stay – the Rossoneri’s plan outlined

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan want to keep Brahim Diaz beyond the end of the season and they intend to open talks over the possibility, according to a report.

Today’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanLive) confirms that Milan want to keep Brahim beyond his loan spell, which will expire next month. However, any talk about his future can only be addressed when Real Madrid have confirmed their new manager as multiple sources have revealed that Zinedine Zidane will be leaving.

Stefano Pioli hopes that the player will stay because the Milan boss appreciates both his technical skills but also the spirit he has shown, plus of course the potential for improvement. Brahim for his part is happy at the club and expressed his satisfaction with the possibility of staying.

However, he must also understand what Real Madrid’s plans are. His entourage – including his father-agent and the intermediary Edoardo Crnjar – had contacts with Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara and the Rossoneri want to propose the renewal of the loan for another season plus an option to buy included. Relations between the clubs are very good and there may be the conditions to reach an agreement, but for now things are on hold.

  1. The lad is certainly good and I personally like his style of play. His is an attack minded player, his ability to drive in between two or more players will cause problem fir any opposing team and thus create space and chances for our attackers. Forza Milan
