Following a tough first six months with the club, Ante Rebic has proved to be a decisive player for AC Milan in 2020. With seven goals since the start of the year, he’s the Rossoneri’s top goalscorer.
As highlighted by Tuttosport (via Milanlive.it), Milan are convinced about the Croatian’s value and want to lock him down for the future. Arriving on a two-year loan, it’s certain that he will stay until 2021.
Rebic’s agent, Fali Ramadani, is in contact with Eintracht Frankfurt to understand how much they will ask for the redemption. It should be noted that 50% of the fee will go to Fiorentina, which could increase the overall price.
Certainly, the fact that Rebic’s contract with the German side expires in 2022 is an advantage for the Rossoneri. This argument can be used in the negotiations to lower the price of the redemption.
Furthermore, the inclusion of Andre Silva could help even more. The Portuguese striker arrived at Frankfurt with the same formula as Rebic, and it looks like the German side want to continue with him.
