Tuttosport: Roma join Milan in pursuit of Man Utd and Spurs centre-backs

Roma are interested in signing two defenders that have been linked with a move to AC Milan in recent days, according to a report.

According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Roma are continuing to work on signing Manchester United’s Eric Bailly as he is Jose Mourinho’s favoured target for the defensive department and the Giallorossi have already asked the Red Devils about a loan with option to buy deal including to have part of the salary paid by his current club.

There are difficulties though because of the salary obstacle and the interest of Sevilla, which means Roma director Tiago Pinto has begun to evaluate the alternatives. Marcos Senesi of Feyenoord, Japhet Tanganga of Tottenham (also a target of Milan) and free agent Dan-Axel Zagadou are targets.

The Athletic are among the sources who have reported that Milan are interested in signing Bailly as they are in the market for a new centre-back, while Tanganga has been linked by virtually every source.
