Tuttosport: Sellable but important – Kessie could stay as U25 project takes shape

By Isak Möller -

If there is a player who, in recent years, has divided the Milan fans and made them discuss, it’s without a doubt Franck Kessie. The Ivorian has alternated between excellent and poor performances since his arrival from Atalanta.

In short, he has become a symbol of ups and downs at the club. However, the name of the midfielder has remained on the wish list of several teams, as Tuttosport highlights in today’s edition (via MilanNews.it).

Furthermore, Kessie has always been a point of reference for the managers who have tried their luck on the Milan bench (from Montella and Gattuso to Giampaolo and Pioli). Of course, from a technical point of view, this is a good sign.

That said, he isn’t unsellable, having failed to live up to the expectations after his fantastic Atalanta spell. Therefore, if an economically interesting proposal arrives, Milan would certainly consider it.

At least for the time being, on the other hand, Kessie remains an important player for the Rossoneri’s style of play. And in a project devoted to players under the age of 25, he could continue to be useful.
