Tuttosport: Spurs to offer winger in swap deal to beat Milan in race for €35m striker

By Oliver Fisher -

Premier League side Spurs are ready to try and burn the competition by offering a counterpart in a deal for Arkadiusz Milik, a report claims.

It has been claimed by a number of different outlets over the part few weeks that Milan are preparing for life without Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who is set to leave the club once the current season is over, unless he pens an extension.

With the Rossoneri in need of a new No.9 multiple reports are claiming that Milik is an option, given his deal expires at the end of next season.

It was reported by Mediaset that the club have already opened talks with the agent of the Poland international, with a valuation of somewhere between €35-40m set.

However, reports of interest from Tottenham have also been doing the rounds, and Monday’s edition of Tuttosport (via Calciomercato.com) seems to suggest they are serious in their pursuit.

The Turin-based newspaper claims that Spurs are ready to offer up winger Lucas Moura in exchange for Milik, though given the age of the former there would likely be a cash sum involved too.
