Tuttosport: The terms of the Krunic sale and Milan’s thoughts on a replacement

Rade Krunic’s time at AC Milan has ended after four and a half years at the club as it was confirmed yesterday that he has left Milan to join Fenerbahçe.

The statement on Milan’s official website announced that Krunic will join Fenerbahce on an initial loan deal and that the move will be made permanent if certain conditions are met.

According to Tuttosport (via PianetaMilan), the obligation will be triggered as soon as Fenerbahçe – who are currently in command of the Turkish Süper Lig with 50 points in the standings after 19 gams – are mathematically safe from relegation.

Therefore, the €4.5m including bonuses for the Bosnian’s sale can virtually be considered certain to arrive in Milan’s accounts, although they will go into the next budget year rather than 2023-24.

Milan demanded a lot more from the Turkish side and Lyon during the summer window, and we wrote at length about the mistakes that were made by all parties involved in a recent feature.

Will Milan replace the former Empoli man? According to the Turin-based newspaper, the plan of the management is to stay alert on the sidelines and ready to seize any opportunities to bring in a midfielder in the second half of the window.

The Rossoneri, however, could also choose to complete the department by putting their faith in Kevin Zeroli, the captain of the Primavera who recently made his senior debut.

  1. Lol people were whining about this? The terms of obligation are already met. Fenerbahce are going to win their league and all we had was if they don’t get relegated lol?

Good bye, Krunic! 4.5 million hahahah? Big win for us.
