Tuttosport: Theo Hernandez is quickly becoming a key player for France

By Isak Möller -

Theo Hernandez received his first call-up to the French national tea back in September and Didier Deschamps is surely not regretting the decision to include him. Thus far, it was been a success for the left-back.

Yesterday, France took on Kazakstan and as you would expect, they won the game easily with a scoreline of 8-0 (!). Hernandez was one of the better player as he bagged two assists, one for Mbappe and one for Benzema.

As highlighted by Tuttosport (via MilanNews) this morning, the left-back is quickly becoming a key player for France. He has already mastered the left-hand side and the stats prove it, with one goal and three assists in four games.

Milan aren’t that surprised, of course, and the same goes for many of the fans as Hernandez got to wait a little too long for the first call-up to arrive. The important thing for France, however, is that it did arrive before it was too late (he could have chosen Spain).
