In addition to signing a centre-back, Milan are also looking to offload Diego Laxalt. Now that they have secured Diogo Dalot, who can play on both sides, they can finally part ways with the Uruguayan international.

According to today’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews.it), there was a meeting between the Milan management and Vincent Cassella at Casa Milan. The latter is part of Laxalt’s entourage and the parties sat down to take stock of the situation.

Three teams have expressed their interest in the left-back, namely Real Betis, Olympiacos and Sporting Lisbon. The former seem to be the most concrete hypothesis, but the Rossoneri are yet to receive an official offer for Laxalt.

The price tag is set at €8-10m, per the newspaper, and it’s possible that it could be another formula than a permanent deal. In any case, there is finally some movement on this front after weeks of silence.
