Tuttosport: Torino candidates to sign Origi – deal possible under one condition

Divock Origi could get a move away from AC Milan late in the window because Torino have begun talks to sign him, according to a report.

This morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via PianetaMilan) reports that Davide Vagnati – the sporting director of Torino – seems to be willing to take a punt on Origi after a difficult first season in Serie A in which he scored just twice.

Origi is contracted to Milan until June 2026 and he has a €4m net per season salary, but the ceiling set by Urbano Cairo’s side is now below €2m per player per year.

Therefore, in order for the Belgian to seal a move to Piedmont, it would require the Rossoneri management to agree to a substantial contribution to Origi’s wages of probably over 50%.

Negotiations will continue in the coming days but the point remains that Origi – also wanted by Burnley in the Premier League and Udinese in Serie A – is added to the list of candidates to bolster the Granata’s attack.
