Tuttosport: Two key returns for Pioli ahead of Lecce-Milan – the likely formation

By Isak Möller -

Waiting on Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Stefano Pioli can console himself with the return of Samu Castillejo and Theo Hernandez, who both missed the Coppa Italia game against Juventus due to suspension.

According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews.it), bar any surprises, the manager will continue with the 4-2-3-1 formation for the clash against Lecce on Monday. Castillejo will return to the right flank, with Ante Rebic or Hakan Calhanoglu on the opposite side.

With the Spaniard on the pitch, Milan will have more pace and solutions as he’s been a key part of Pioli’s attack since Suso left the club in January. However, as mentioned, Castillejo isn’t the only one that will be back in action.

Theo Hernandez, who is Milan’s second-best goalscorer with five league goals this season, will also return. In short, new life on the flanks which the Rossoneri badly need, and they can be sure that the duo will work hard.
