AC Milan have made Jordan Zemura of Udinese a target to strengthen the left-back position, according to a report.

Even though there is over five weeks until the window opens again, the mercato never sleeps and Milan are expected to intervene where they can to try and improve the squad available to Paulo Fonseca.

The Rossoneri are looking for a deputy for Theo Hernandez, and there are several profiles they are evaluating. Among these, TuttoUdinese reports that the directors have shown interest in Jordan Zemura.

The Udinese wing-back has characteristics that Fonseca likes a lot, because he gets up and down the flank thanks to his pace and athleticism. At the moment there is no negotiation underway between the clubs, but the appreciation for the player has been registered.

Milan would like to secure him immediately, to then have him integrated into the squad starting in June in view of next season. The 25-year-old so far has one goal and one assist in 11 league games for the Friulians.

Zemura is a Zimbabwe international who was born in London and played for QPR, Charlton and AFC Bournemouth before his move to Udine last year. He penned a four year deal, which runs until the summer of 2027 therefore.

  1. Ffs who is this, we have enough bloody foreign players, we can’t even register a full list for Europe as we have so many foreign players, and they want another one ??? Craziness, there are plenty of decent Italian left backs….enough is enough with the foreign players

    1. Well… The foreigners have put us on the 7th place in the table so far. Seems that’s what the management wants. Banter Era 2.0. Only with zero Italians.

  2. Moncada/Milan is interested in anyone cheap.

Talent, does not actually matter. It helps but the most important part is cheap.

We hire cheap and then call them champions for the next 3 years while they flop around until we sell them for a loss.

But hey, we have a no talent moneyball scout. So it makes perfect sense.

  3. Does anyone remember that a couple of years ago milan had Kerkez? As usual our clever whiz kids sent him away and now he plays for Bournemouth in premier league – latest reports from the UK say that liverpool and real madrid want him badly.
Kerkez would have been perfect replacement for theo …. something we have been planning to do for some 3 years now!!!!
    Clever milan!!!!!
