There are four loan decisions to be made in the summer by AC Milan, and a report states that the verdict has already been made for two players.
Recruitment this season has been widely scrutinised, especially with the management set to make changes this summer. Even now, there are still questions being asked, but the summer should add further clarity.
Permanent deals may already be being discussed internally, and sporting director candidates may bring their own transfer targets, but there is a special middle ground where current loan players are involved.
Considering they are already with Milan, evaluations are constantly being made, but a final decisions are expected in the summer, though the fate of two players has already been decided.
For Kyle Walker, his stay in Rossoneri will be extended, as reports in recent days have stated. Whereas Joao Felix’s time at the club will come to an end, with Jorge Mendes already trying to find a suitor for next season.
This leaves Tammy Abraham and Riccardo Sottil fighting for their own futures. As Gazzetta dello Sport (via Milan News) writes, the Diavolo are uncertain about both at present. Sottil’s €10 million price ‘seems a lot’, which is a similar position to Abraham, due to the high figures demanded by Roma.
It seems a decision will only be made once the sporting director arrives, so until then, Abraham and Sottil must continue to work towards continuity.

Send them back. Not good enough. Anyone with eyes can see that.
Abraham is the best striker in the squad btw. Don’t know what you’ve been watching.
Exactly. Some people just come here to write rubbish. Tammy may not be a lethal striker but we can use him as back up. He is okay
This has to be some anti-white racism. Best striker? What a load of rubbish.
Without UCL Milan will definitely not spend a lot of money.
First of all they will gladly take look on exits, sales, and release for free options.
That’s how they are going to lower expenses and increase the revenue by selling players which are going to make capital gain.
Abraham could even be bought in terms of if they sell Saelemaekers for 25 million +.
Kalulu, Saelemakers, Bennacer could produce around 50 million of capital gain, plus Bennacer departure would save extra 10 million on costs side.
Now, there are some other flops in the team which future needs to be resolved, before Milan is going to think about players buy.
In compare to last mercato, this time, Milan needs to sell first, and sell more players or 1 star for bigger fee, before thinking about buying.
Sottil was only brought to plug the regulation hole Calabria left. So don’t expect significant Italian acquisitions in the summer. They’ll get more regulation plugs like Sottil and Terracciano.
I think Sottil deserves more time – he’s not a RB replacement, he’s LMF, LWB and should be played – think it will be the same old, same old this evening..
