The end of August will be a hectic one for AC Milan as they prepare for some tough challenges on the field while looking to complete the team through the mercato.
As reported this morning by Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews), the Rossoneri are working to sign a defender and a midfielder, with the idea being to bring in both players for a minimal expense having spent big on Charles De Ketelaere.
Abdou Diallo is the priority for the centre-back role but Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are yet to agree a formula with PSG, while for the midfield Raphael Onyedika of FC Midtjylland is a target, with his valuation at €7m but other options being looked at.
After closing the renewals of Tomori and Pobega until 2027, Maldini and Massara will work on other contract extensions such as Rade Krunic who has his contract expiring in 2024, just like Bennacer and Leao, on whom the management will probably concentrate their efforts once the transfer market is over.
