TyC Sports: Milan and Juventus warned as River Plate agree terms with Alvarez over exit

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are one of the teams interested in signing Julian Alvarez who has reached an agreement with River Plate over his exit, a report claims.

According to TyC Sports in Argentina, River and the representatives of the 21-year-old forward have struck a deal regarding the conditions under which Alvarez will be allowed to depart the club. They will only sell if an offer of €20m arrives and it cannot be formulated through payment in instalments or the use of bonuses.

River believe that Alvarez will not leave in the next transfer market due to the figure they are asking for, but if any club are willing to pay the €20m in one go then he will be allowed to leave.

Two Italian clubs in particular are mentioned in the report as having an interest. The first is Juventus and the other is Milan, with both looking to add a centre-forward. They could be joined by Fiorentina, if they manage to close the sale of Dušan Vlahović.

  1. Milan need to go for Vlahovic or Alvarez. This and replacement of Kessie should be the priority. Then a starting RW (Saelesmaekers can play in the last 30 mins) and a CB in case Romagnoli leaves
