AC Milan and Inter are both interested in signing Florian Neuhaus from Borussia Monchengladbach but they face strong competition, a report claims.
Both Sky Germany and Bild (via MilanLive) reported earlier in the month that Mönchengladbach are aware that Neuhaus is tempting to important clubs, with Milan, Inter and Real Madrid among those mentioned as being interested by the report.
Now, another German source in TZ are reporting that Neuhaus could leave Borussia in the summer thanks to a release clause set at €40million. In addition to Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Inter, Milan and Borussia Dortmund are keen on the German international as per the report.
They go on to suggest that despite the obvious appeal of moving to the Bundesliga and Champions League champions Bayern, the player has ‘no tendency’ towards joining the Bavarian giants which may open the door.
Neuhaus – primarily a defensive midfielder – has already amassed five goals and six assists in 25 appearances this season and has established himself as a starter in Marco Rose’s team, who also use a 4-2-3-1.
