Udinese 0-4 Milan Primavera: Ibrahimovic brace secures three points – highlights

AC Milan Primavera played their first game of the season earlier today as they faced Udinese away from home. It was a big success for Federico Guidi’s boys as Maximilian Ibrahimovic scored a brace to secure the three points.

Guidi took over the team after Ignazio Abate’s departure at the start of the summer, joining from Roma’s Primavera side. Therefore, it was important to start the season on the right foot today, not to mention that many talents have been promoted to the Milan Futuro.

It’s truly a new era of the Primavera, in other words, but it could be a positive one as they prevailed 4-0 today. Maximilian Ibrahimovic, the son of Zlatan, opened the scoring after capitalising on a great pass by the team’s star Alessandro Bonomi.

The latter doubled the lead just before the second half as Milan were awarded a penalty. Bonomi’s shot was blocked by a handball and that prompted the referee’s decision. Bonomi also stepped up to take the penalty and made no mistakes.

A few minutes before that, it should be noted that Udinese had a man sent off and this obviously made life easier for Milan. About ten minutes into the second half, Ibrahimovic bagged his brace with a scuffed volley on the edge of the box, but they all count!

With just a few minutes left of the game, Ernesto Perin sealed the deal with a lovely finish inside the box. The perfect start for Milan Primavera and Guidi, who will be looking to continue on this path.
