UEFA update club ranking after latest European games – where Milan, Inter and Juventus sit

By Oliver Fisher -

UEFA have updated their official club coefficient ranking after the completion of the Champions League and Europa League round of 16.

Milan were the better team over the two legs, earning a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford in the first game but succumbing to a 1-0 defeat in the return fixture as Paul Pogba’s goal early in the second half proved to be decisive. Injuries hurt Milan, who now must focus on a top four spot.

The Rossoneri – despite exiting the competition before the quarter-final stage leaving Roma as the only Italian team still in Europe – have risen ever so slightly in the rankings but are not anywhere near the top 20.
