UOL Esporte: Juventus set to beat Milan to signing of Brazilian striker in €6m deal

By Oliver Fisher -

It is looking more and more like Juventus have emerged victorious in the race to sign Kaio Jorge from Santos, according to a report.

In the last 48 hours Juventus have managed to overtake the Rossoneri by offering a higher sum to the agents of Jorge. The Brazilian source UOL Desporte (via MilanLive) reveals that the Bianconeri have allocated a sum of €6m to the purchase of the 19-year-old, including bonuses and commissions to the striker’s agents.

He will sign a four-year pre-contract with Juve which will take effect from January 2022 until 2026. However, they could also bring this forward if they sit at the negotiating table with Santos and offer a small compensation fee in order to sign him this summer.

Now, it remains to be seen whether Milan will push the accelerator down and go for another young striker to work with Ibrahimovic and Giroud, or whether Jorge was the only profile they were after.

  1. It’s because Milan is too much talking but no action..!!
If you like some player and you have all you need to sign then sign him immadiately..!!

  2. Olmo, Correa, Shimakan, Szoboslai over and over again…

We “negotiate” to save 1-2 m, while more serious teams just enter the race and get the player…

What an aboslute joke we ‘ve become…
