USA boss Berhalter believes Chelsea and Arsenal duo could see Milan as ‘very attractive’

By Oliver Fisher -

United States national team head coach Gregg Berhalter has suggested that Christian Pulisic and Folarin Balogun could be attracted by the idea of joining AC Milan.

This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport write how Junior Messias and Alexis Saelemaekers both failed to convince last season and that is why Milan are in the market for two right wingers, with Pulisic among the targets.

Meanwhile, Calciomercato.com reported this morning that Milan are looking at alternatives to Marcus Thuram after he chose to join Inter with Arsenal loanee Balogun on the list of names along with several others.

Berhalter did an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport during which he was asked about the recent links between Pulisic and Milan, given he coaches him with the national team.

“Christian plays for Chelsea. But Italy and Milan are still very attractive destinations, also thanks to the possibility of being protagonists in the Champions League,” he said (via Calciomercato.com).

“But no advice, it’s a question of personal choices. The same goes for Balogun, who is already a certainty and not just a striker of the future as I hear around. We’ll see…”

  1. Balogun have same playstyle with marcus thuram . Balogun also stil 21 years. The problem are the price ,minimum 30m euro . Arsenal will looking for high price

  2. I still have no fckn idea why we aren’t going all in for Reiss Nelson for the RW. Free.. hasn’t committed to Arsenal yet.. better than all the alternatives all around so far. But when I think of Furlani’s ability.. I guess it’s understandable. lol

    1. Because I think he has committed to Arsenal, just sorting out legals and details. Which is a massive waste of his talent because Arsenal will just keep signing wingers to play instead of him.
