Leonel Vangioni, who’s considered surplus to requirements, is closing in on a move to Mexican side Monterrey, while Lazio are considering signing Carlos Bacca.
Monterrey’s technical director confirmed earlier today that there are only details left until Vangioni is their player. Up until now, a return to River Plate looked the most likely option but it seems the Argentinian full-back has changed his mind. A deal could even be concluded in the next few days. Here’s what Monterrey’s technical director said about the situation to MilanNews.it:
“Vangioni will arrive to cover our left side and compete with those who are here. Hopefully, Vangioni will arrive soon and adapt quickly. He is close to arriving, only small details are missing.”
AC Milan are also working on the sale of Carlos Bacca, but haven’t received any good offers for the Colombian yet. The Rome-based newspaper Il Tempo claims that Lazio are considering signing Bacca, although the striker would have to take a pay cut.
