AC Milan are interested in signing Hans Nicolussi Caviglia from Venezia, and they have set an asking price ahead of the summer.
Several sources have reported that Milan want to relaunch in 2025-26 with more of a ‘homegrown’ influence on the squad, i.e. players who are already accustomed to Serie A and will know what it means to wear the red and black shirt.
One of the positions that they could look to strengthen is in the midfield, and there have been links with Torino’s Samuele Ricci in the past few months. However, his asking price will be high given Urbano Cairo is a tough man to negotiate with, so other options may be looked at.
Nicolussi Caviglia: On Milan’s radar
According to Corriere della Sera, Venezia’s Nicolussi Caviglia has ended up on Milan’s radar too. Their sporting director Filippo Antonelli has been able to fish out talent from much more established teams and revitalise them, and this is another example of that.
Nicolussi Caviglia was launched by Massimiliano Allegri at Juventus then signed by the Venetians, and he has been a pillar of their side this season. As mentioned, he has ended up in the Rossoneri’s sights and Venezia want at least €15m for him.
A lot could depend on how the final part of the Serie A season goes: the Arancioneroverdi are currently in the relegation zone with three games to go. Obviously they have no intention of giving up on the dream of remaining in Serie A, but if they did drop then some stars could leave.
Who is he going to replace, Reijnders or Fofana
…perhaps he will replace Bondo
Correct, then hopefully Musah can be sold.
The Ricci you are getting against the Ricci you ordered.
Temu Ricci 😀
We need players who are ready and raise the level of the starting 11. This guy isn’t one.
He looks decent enough, but being ‘decent enough’ in a 5h1t team shouldn’t make you a Milan target. Come On!!!!
Sell reijnders tp city. So Milan can buy both Ricci fan boy and Hans caviglia. Everybodies happy…
he’s kind of Sottil/ Terra/ Pobega, backup player at best
