Mike Maignan has shed a bit of light into his obsessive mentality, admitting that he wanted to make up for a disappointing 2024-25.
Maignan is certainly one of the main leaders at Milan and not just because he wears the armband. He is a vocal presence from the training ground to the pitch at San Siro, as he showed before the derby win over Inter on Sunday.

The French goalkeeper spoke to DAZN in a big interview that was broadcast on Friday morning under the name ‘Beyond The Magic’. We published it in full, while below is an extract from his comments.
“I demand a lot from myself. I’m like that with the others too, sometimes too much, and this is something I have to understand. Then I bring patience and calm, realising that we’re not all made the same way,” he said.
“It’s too easy to focus only on your own path. You also have to understand the way others think. To be honest, I really want to make up for last year. That’s all I’ve been thinking about, and I’m still thinking about it now.”
