Vitiello: Castillejo to remain at Milan as move to Russia is blocked – the latest

By Isak Möller -

Samu Castillejo has been linked with a move to CSKA Moscow in the last few days, given that the Russian transfer window will close tomorrow. However, it seems the Spaniard will remain at AC Milan after all.

According to the latest report from Antonio Vitiello (see the video below), Castillejo is set to remain at Milan until at least January. The Russian transfer window, as said, will close tomorrow and there isn’t enough time to close the deal.

That is because the negotiations between Milan and CSKA Moscow are practically blocked, with the Rossoneri’s demands deemed too high. And as per the report, they won’t be able to unlock the situation before it’s too late.

Castillejo could be a good depth player for Stefano Pioli to have, although he hasn’t been included in the squad for Champions League. His playing time will be divided between Serie A and Coppa Italia, therefore.
