Vitiello: Milan hold meeting over Villarreal striker as pursuit continues

One of AC Milan’s priorities this summer is to sign a striker and several players have been linked with the club. The latest name is Nicolas Jackson and the Rossoneri have already had a first meeting.

Lois Openda of Lens has been described as the No.1 choice for Milan this summer but given the high demands involved, the Rossoneri are also monitoring alternatives. According to Anto Vitiello, Nicolas Jackson is one of them.

Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are keeping their eyes on the 21-year-old, who has eleven league goals this season, and a meeting was also held recently. Jackson has suitors in the Premier League as well, though, so it won’t be easy.

Olivier Giroud was the big hero with the game-winner against Juventus last night but it’s clear that the Frenchman will need more rest next season. Then, of course, Milan also need to prepare themselves for the future with a young striker.
