Vitiello: Milan’s current thoughts regarding the future of Messias and Pobega

AC Milan are currently leaning towards signing Junior Messias permanently and also keeping Tommaso Pobega when he returns from his loan, a journalist has claimed.

Antonio Vitiello of MilanNews spoke on his YouTube channel (via Francesco Nasato) and gave an update on the aforementioned duo, beginning by stating that the Rossoneri are inclined towards buying Messias permanently when his loan expires.

The Brazilian joined from Crotone on deadline day of the last summer transfer window and after some initial physical problems he had a breakout spell, scoring the winner against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League. He is on five goals for the season.

Vitiello added that Milan ‘would like to keep Pobega next season’ when his loan deal at Torino expires and not just because of the versatility he provides but also because of the requirements for the squad lists whereby academy products are needed. The midfielder for his part wants to stay and fight for a spot.
