Vitiello: Pavlovic ‘pushing’ as Milan prepare to close operation for nearly €20m

Strahinja Pavlovic is pushing for a move to AC Milan and the latter will sit down with RB Salzburg next week, according to a report. The Rossoneri’s goal is to close the operation there and then, with an offer of just under €20m ready to be tabled.

Pavlovic has been heavily linked with Milan in the last few weeks or so and it appears that an agreement is getting closer. Indeed, the Rossoneri are also keen on the matter as they believe a left-footed player is needed for the centre of the defence.

According to Antonio Vitiello, in fact, this is a specific request that has arrived from Fonseca and next week will be an important one for the transfer. Milan are ready to table an offer of just under €20m and the hope is that this will be enough to close the negotiations.

Pavlovic already has an agreement in principle with the Rossoneri over a five-year deal, and that is also why the Serbian is pushing so much for the move. The player’s will, along with an actually decent offer, are what make Milan so confident too.

Up front, there has been a development for Lorenzo Colombo and we have published the full details as early access on our Substack, so check that out.

  1. No we don’t need several players. We already got a striker for a ridiculously low price, we need a DM, most likely a deputy for the DM a CB and perhaps a deputy striker, count also some players likely leaving. So in total we need between 2 and 4 players.

    1. Not several but 2-4? what do you mean? LOL that 4 players will cost at least 80M nett while we are not yet sold a player

  2. I miss don Berlusconi the president with a swag, who gives out blank cheques to Galliani
This milan mgt is cheap as f**k.

      1. Did you miss the part when Berlusconi turned Milan into the football juggernaut that we all know today? It was a long period of glory, trophies and world class players, with many Ballon d’Or. You can find it on Wikipedia 😉

        1. are you mentally challenged? Thats not possible for any Italian club anymore

people like you constantly even mock whenever Milan try to increase revenue

        2. Of course i will missed that time too. Being ACM fan in 1990 since i was 4 years kid . I even watched the last ACM winning Cl in athen 2007. But owner cannot inject private money anymore to club ( except PSG ) . Self refinancing like Real madrid/Liverpool are the model that modern club must use now . Syeikh Jassin put 5 billion offer to buy MU but yet he is not interesting buying ACM or IM that only cost below 2 billion euro , PIF even talk bad about italian league . If ACM can get pavlovic & fofana without selling theo ,maignan ( it is more better if can renew that duo frenchman ) then im confident ACM can compete for scudetto

  3. Milan is the slooooooooowest club in the world when it comes to negotiating a transfer…it’s like our negotiators are 90+ years old in thinking and reaction.

    1. Yeah agree don’t overspend, but how much budget do we have LITERALLY? You must describe how much budget left for signing new player. We know we will barely win UCL next season, but we must win scudetto at least.

  4. Milan management are not too good when it comes to negotiating players with their respective club sides and this leads to the other teams taking advantage of milan once they have sited good players but because of their sluggishness in negotiations, they loose the players to another team which is not too good with the team and we the fans… I miss Berlusconi days who gives blank cheques and it really helped the team in signing good and best of players. The Milan management had better wake up cos the team needs to win at least two trophies this new season and we should be a team to be scared of.. I rest my case.

  5. Milan managements should please try and get Fofana , Pavlovic, Samardzic, then go for Rodrigo of madrid for the new season and we are good to go. There after you can sell who ever you want to sell before other teams will go for these players.

  6. AC Milan need to have revenue at least 500 in order to alocate easily 80m for the transfers. It is long way until achieve that milestone…New stadium will bring more revenue, therefore more many will be possible to inject in transfers without selling best players.
