AC Milan may have been delivered some welcomed news about the status of Dusan Vlahovic this afternoon, with reports suggesting he could miss the clash.
Injuries are part and parcel of football, and it seems after months of Milan suffering, they could be given an opposition boost. During Serbia’s game against Denmark, where Strahinja Pavlovic was dismissed again, Vlahovic suffered an injury to his left thigh, and the chances of him playing this weekend have shortened.
In fact, Tuttomercatoweb (via Milan News) report that his chances of playing are ‘almost certain’ to be zero, given he arrived at the JMedical centre limping this afternoon. In addition to this, his face looked ‘dark’ as if to suggest he knew the extent of his injury could keep him sidelined for his side’s big clash.
It seems that at least a three-week period of absence could be on the cards, based on initial spectator assessments from the game last night, and this could mean that the Serbian striker is unable to aid the Old Lady for at least their next three Serie A games.
The scan this afternoon will reveal more, but the Rossoneri could be offered an early boost for the fixture, which they have to make use of.
That’s bad for us. Vlahovic misses sitters and is a ghost for 80 minutes of a game
always same reason, injured then passed last minute match fitness then score against us….
