Kyle Walker was asked about the possibility of remaining at AC Milan beyond the summer, and his answer suggests things are very much open.
Walker arrived at Milan on loan from Manchester City during the winter transfer window, and while he made a positive initial impact things went downhill from there. In addition to suffering an elbow injury, the Englishman lost his starting spot despite the switch to a three-man defence.

Walker fuels doubt
Milan must soon make a decision on their €5m buy-out option, and a report earlier on Sunday claimed that Walker will almost certainly return to Manchester when his loan is officially up. He would not stay there though, because Pep Guardiola considers his City time to be done.
On the sidelines of the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Catalonia, Walker was interviewed by SkySportF1. In the short interview, he was asked about staying at Milan, and Di Marzio claims he replied: “Yes, yes, maybe.”
Above all, the Rossoneri management – now led by sporting director Igli Tare – will make evaluations on Walker’s age, whether he will fit Massimiliano Allegri’s plans, if he is worth the investment in terms of the fee and whether his wages are proportional to his contribution.

not quite. Florenzi is/was occupying a ‘national trained’ list place. Walker would keep occupying of the precious 17 open slots.

The fact that they used Walker (and not Reijnders) in the new home kit promo video makes me suspicious that he is staying. And sadly that Reijnders is not.
