After over two weeks with very little movement, AC Milan’s January transfer window might be about to spring into life in the coming days.

According to what is being reported by Sky (via MilanNews), Milan have decided to try and secure the signing of Kyle Walker, thus taking the only slot available for English players. That is largely because Manchester United want 75% of Marcus Rashford’s salary covering in any loan deal.

An agreement has been reached with the Manchester City player, who was waiting for Milan. In the next few hours the Rossoneri will make an official offer to sign the player on loan with an option to buy included.

Milan’s choice to go for the England international is a prelude to a possible departure for Fikayo Tomori, with Juventus trying hard to get him. It remains to be seen whether Milan will say yes and the player will say yes, because the defender would like to stay at least until the end of the season.

Given that Milan play Juventus tonight at the Allianz Stadium there could be further discussions. The Bianconeri will also use any Tomori negotiations to talk about an early buy-out of Pierre Kalulu, hoping that this can soften their stance.

Having chosen Walker and abandoned Rashford, Sky add that Milan will now need an EU forward. The directors asked about Joao Felix but Chelsea are not open to a loan at present, even though his appearances in the Premier League have been scarce.

  1. Walker is a bit of crazy, but probably this what this team need, I mean proper fighter. when Walker came, so automatically Calcio rules don’t allow for Rashford transfer. Joao Felix is a dream, new Kaka. I don’t believe that we could afford for him. however, the best option for Felix is also AC Milan. in Italy he will be the king, in England it’s not necessary the best league for technique players.

Tomori out. why? because we lost a lot of goals because of his crap interventions and tactical mistakes. I don’t want to say that in other team he can’t improve. but in the Milan team, this style, he made too much of errors. good luck body in other environment.

      1. Did Tomori transfer for this winter or next summer?. I think if we let go tomori this winter, it will be a big disadvantage for us. Yes he made a lot of error but we dont have any proper CB at the moment. Thiaw and Gabbia are easily get injured, and Pavlo is not ready. Except we can buy a solid high profile CB which i doubt the management would spend for it

        1. nonsense. Gabbia are ready. and together with Thiaw and Pavlovic they could compete. what’s the problem to buy new CB. they talked about this not really realistic option – Antonio Silva. really high option.
          .
we need smb much more experienced like Igor Zubielda from Real Sociedad or Jose Gimenez from Atletico. don’t hesitate ‘AC Milan’ management.

      2. Exactly, we shouldn’t be reinforcing direct opponents, especially that we’re now fighting them for a 4th place.
In addition to that, with Thiaw’s injury we’ll need to keep our remaining CBs. If we want to sell players we can start with Jovic, Loftus-Cheek, Royal,…

        1. “If we want to sell players we can start with Jovic, Loftus-Cheek, Royal,…”

And let’s not forget about the fan-favorites Origi & Frodo Ballo-Tourette. Tomori should be perhaps in the middle of the list, not in the beginning.

  2. Has anyone watched Felix play the last two years? Don’t compare the situation to Pulisic’s. One had numerous chances with the team, one didn’t.

  3. Walker add experience and quality to our team. Sure his past his prime but he is still a top player, much better than emerson. Felix could be interesting signing. If conceicao believes in him and thinks he can turn his fortunes around we should back him. His still young and could turn out to be a great signing like pulisic turned out to be.
