The wife and agent of Mauro Icardi – Wanda Nara – has confirmed that AC Milan and Roma are both interested in signing the striker in the summer.
Icardi joined Galatasaray on loan from Paris Saint-Germain at the beginning of the season and has found his form again with nine goals scored in just 12 league appearances, and this has led to speculation about what the future might hold beyond the end of this season.
According to En Son Haber in Turkey, Wanda Nara has spoken to the Spanish press about the future of the 30-year-old, whose suitors are increasing day by day and with each goal that he scores.
“Roma and Milan from Italy want to sign Icardi next season. The news is true,” she apparently said. It was also mentioned that the player would be happy to return to Serie A, where he has also played for Sampdoria.
Icardi scored 124 goals for Inter in Serie A and could be looking for new accommodation once his loan at Galatasaray expires, given Wanda Nara also said that it is unlikely that he will return to the French capital.
