Watch: Abate shares view of managing Milan’s U16 side – ‘Study time’

Ignazio Abate left AC Milan as his contract expired in 2019, expected to join another side for the following season. Instead, he decided to retire and thus ended his career at the club, though not his time there. 

In fact, ahead of this season, Abate was appointed as the new head coach for the Rossoneri’s U16 side. Along with the likes of Del Piero, Matri, Montolivo, Vieri, De Rossi and Pazzini, he got his UEFA A license and was his qualified.

On his Twitter profile, he shared a video of him studying the U16 side, putting a lot of effort into his new role as manager.
