Thanks to yesterday’s strike against Fiorentina,  which was a beauty, Tammy Abraham has now hit double figures for AC Milan in terms of goals scored.

It has been a season filled with ups and downs for Abraham, just like Milan as a team, but the last few weeks have been very positive for him. After a lovely assist against Como, he followed that up with a great goal against Inter and then the strike against Fiorentina yesterday.

While the turn and strike against the Nerazzurri was fantastic as well, you could definitely argue that yesterday’s goal was his best yet for Milan. Starting the move himself, he dribbled past a couple of Fiorentina players before playing a one-two with Christian Pulisic, leaving him 1v1 with the keeper.

Abraham made no mistake with the finish, showing great composure (which hasn’t always been the case this season) and La Viola were left watching on. When just two players can break through an entire defence like that, you know it’s a good goal.

Abraham was handed high ratings by the Italian newspapers this morning, as well as in our player ratings, and it looks like he avoided an injury which is nice to hear. In other words, things are looking up for the Englishman, who now has ten goals in all competitions for Milan.

      1. Abraham is far better than Giminez. At least he is mobile and can dribble. I think Abraham has been one of the more consistent players this season with limited playing time, always 2nd in line. Also there is a reason why at Roma all buildups and goals would go through him. Very underrated

      2. 15 goal actions in 1500 minutes is not one goal. It is roughly one goal action per match

Additionally his link up play is solid and will only get better with familiarity.

Some people are blinded by unexplained bias. Care to explain yours?

  1. Abraham is expensive. But with him Gimenez and free transfer Jovic and lower salary, we might have attack for next season resolved.

Than, defence midfield plus wingers must be resolved to start new chapter.

  2. None of the Milan strikers can play as a none striker.

The coach needs to switch to his preferred and tradition 442 353 which ever way. He choose to lineup.

Jovic for example starting to score goals. Gimeniez struggle alone upfront.. this is Italian league not Eredivise

  3. Abraham is good striker, but there are two problems:
    – His conversion is sub-par, he misses two many chances
    – His salary is not the one for a 2nd choice striker, with that salary he should be the starting n9. And he has proven to be worth a starting spot in a team like Milan.

  4. Abraham is one of my favorite striker. He has performed above little average without much playing time. So, the management should access him and give him the contract that can boast his confidence. This what a player need.

Unfortunately, Gimeneze is still struggling. I hope he can quickly comeback to her best performance.

You can see how cool he was since his loan move. He accepted to be a second striker to Morata and now to Gimeneze. So, allow him to take the baton fr Giroud.

  5. We should keep him (if the price is right). Always nice to have a different type of strikers in the team. And Tammy is the most mobile striker we have right now.
