Watch: Agent taunts Milan as Inter seal deal for midfielder – ‘Better here’

By Isak Möller -

Kristjan Asllani, who was linked with AC Milan a few weeks back, is now one step away from joining Inter as the clubs have reached an agreement. And his agent has commented on the Rossoneri’s interest.

The Empoli midfielder, who impressed many this past season, was linked with Milan just a few weeks back as a battle with Inter emerged. It seems the Nerazzurri have now won that battle, as confirmed by the agent of Asllani.

As you can see in the video below, the agent Elio Berti confirmed that an agreement has been reached between Empoli and Inter. He also said that they are ready to complete the move, while dropping a comment for Milan fans as well.

“We have been informed that Empoli and Inter have reached an agreement. There is full availability from all sides, in the next few days we will see. If the player is happy? We are all happy. Length of contract? We will see. Milan? We are here [pointing to Inter HQ], better here,” he stated.

    1. Are we supposed to sign every player we’re linked with? Where does Asllani play with Bennacer, Tonali, Pobega, and Krunic all already on the books and Sanches looking like he’s coming in? At Inter he plays only behind Brozovic (i.e. his specific position in the middle of the midfield trio). If Bennacer leaves, as rumored, then OK maybe Asllani would have been a good replacement/future talent, but until that’s a reality there is no use in crying about transfer that would otherwise not happen. We can’t lament every player we’re linked with signing somewhere else. Talk about FOMO.

    2. There are plenty of good players out there. So why you act like Milan gonna missed out if they didn’t sign this player lol.

  1. And he would bench who exactly? Tonalli? we cannot buy the whole Serie A talents, we just need a committed few. Adli is coming, so is Renato, and there is Pobega.

  2. What do you expect him to say on the day that his client signed for a club? Nah Milan , who is the biggest rival of the club his client will be playing is better. He might not even mean it but thats what is expected of him to say

  3. Milan will be just fine if we can bring in the major targets Origi, Sanches and co. We don’t need to sign everyone and their dogs.

  4. If he is bringing his player to Inter , of course he is going to say they’re better !

This guy will bounce around on loan for 3 year’s before been sold to Parma.

  5. Eh good for inter i guess lol

Milan already have Tonali, Benacer, Adli, Pobega, Krunic, and soon Renato. So i don’t think Milan needs this guy.
