Those who have been awaiting the return of Ismael Bennacer for a long time were given a taste of what is to come this afternoon as he trained on the field at Milanello.
Bennacer has been out since last May after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on the cartilage of his right knee and though it has been a long recovery process, there is now light at the end of the tunnel.

Yesterday, the Algeria international carried out the very first part of training in a group with his team-mates which was the initial rondo, before continuing with his strength and conditioning work.
This is already an important first step towards his definitive return to training under Stefano Pioli’s orders, which is expected to be in around a month.
