Watch: Lovely Camarda and Liberali goals give Italy U17s another win

By Oliver Fisher -

Italy U17s recorded their second group stage win in two games at the European Championship today by beating Slovakia 2-0, and two AC Milan talents got on the scoresheet.

Camarda was the one who got the first goal and it was a beauty. Having been found in space left of centre, the striker lined up a shot as the ball sat up and hammered it inside the far post as the goalkeeper could only deflect it in.

His goal comes after news during the week that the 16-year-old is getting closer to signing a new contract with Milan.

Then it was Liberali’s turn to join the fun, and his finish was arguably just as impressive. Deep on the left side of the box, he fired on goal from a narrow angle and watched the ball nestle inside the far post.

      1. van basten would do it from a far sharper angle like he did against ussr in 1988, simply one of the most spectacular goals ever made in my book. Camarda nevertheless shows a lot of promise but i doubt it will serve any purpose mentioning him in the same sentence as either van basten or ibra at the moment. Maybe in 15 years it will be different but that would take a herculean effort and some luck for that to happen.

  1. This boy have a rare great talent. If milan let it go, it would be embarrassing. I bet you, this boy could end up in dortmund
    Haha…
