Milan are just one step away from returning to the Champions League, after several years of disappointment as many key players left around 2013. Perhaps not surprisingly, this team has got loads of praise from former Rossoneri stars.
Antonio Cassano is one of the players that has heaped praise on Milan recently and above all, Stefano Pioli. The former Milan and Inter man is a frequent guest on BoboTV, Chrisitan Vieri’s Twitch channel, where he often talks about the Rossoneri.
Last time out, as Vieri was connected from the training ground Coverciano, a few well-known faces appeared in the background. These included Giampaolo Pazzini and Ignazio Abate, both of whom Cassano joked about.
“Of all of you, the only great player was De Rossi (laughs). Pazzini scored only thanks to me. Is Ignazio the one behind there? No … When he had to cross on the first, he put it on the back post. When he had to pass it forward, he went back. He made a mess … Ciao grande Igna!,” he jokingly stated.
