Two of AC Milan’s summer signings got their names on the scoresheet for the first time in preseason as Stefano Pioli’s side went in 2-1 up at the break against Novara.
Milan took the lead less than 10 minutes in. A poor throw in from Novara saw Noah Okafor win ball back from the receiver and put Chukwueze one-on-one with the goalkeeper. The Nigerian rounded him and put it in for his first preseason goal.
Around six minutes later it was 2-0, and Okafor got himself off the mark in preseason. A cross from Romero was nearly buried by Chukwueze for his second, but was well saved and Okafor was able to tuck in a simple rebound.
