Watch: Chukwueze scores winner vs. Real Madrid from Liberali assist

By Oliver Fisher -

Samuel Chukwueze set up two goals against Manchester City a few days ago, but he became the match-winner for AC Milan against Real Madrid in Chicago.

In the 55th minute, Milan took a lead that their pressure had probably warranted. A loose pass out from defence by Real was pounced on by Fikayo Tomori, and Mattia Liberali did well to slide a ball through for Chukwueze who finished low and hard past Lunin.

That goal would be enough to earn the win as the game finished 1-0 to the Rossoneri, while Chukwueze could have also had an assist for Christian Pulisic in the latter stages but Lunin saved well.

  1. Hopefully Fonseca will start the season with Chukwueze on the right and Pulisic in the middle. Just need to get the pivot right.

I hope we see lots of Liberali too, we neee to treat him as City did with Foden, give him minutes and exposure to the first team. Not just play him on a fully rotated side, he needs to play alongside Leao, Pulisic etc

    1. Agreed, I’d like to see that with all of them. Him, camarda, zeroli. Need to get them used to 1st team play standards
