Watch: Chukwueze heads to sign five-year Milan deal – “Very very happy”

Today is Samuel Chukwueze day as the winger should be officially confirmed as a new AC Milan player, and he has departed for Casa Milan to sign his contract.

After undergoing his medical and fitness checks yesterday, Chukwueze was spotted leaving his hotel this morning en route to the club’s headquarters, where he will sign a five-year contract and have his customary photoshoot before the club announce him.

Asked how he is feeling by our reporter Luca Maninetti, Chukwueze responded: “Very very happy.”

  1. Has it been reported how those bonuses are structured? Because that’s a lot of bonuses, so if it’s for appearances, top 4 finish or UCL quarter finals makes a big difference.

    1. Not yet. If the bonus is that much usually it’s consist of different things- I’d expect around 5m easily achievable bonus like appearances/goals and 3m for team based achievement, like scudetto.

    2. We have a large bonus when it comes to Tonali. I don’t see an issue with what have spent. It’s all very balanced in the end, even counting bonuses.

    1. I don’t mind Salad depth as he’s still young with room to improve but Messias….why is this guy still here? Thank you for your service but I hope you recover before the window closes.

      1. Saladmaker is limited in growth and potential as we have seen he hasn’t gotten progressively better. I think we have hit the ceiling with him. What you see is what you get wit him. Same with Junior.

Romero though seems like he can still improve given his age. I’d keep him for depth.
