Watch: Chukwueze, Okafor, Calabria and Colombo score vs. Novara – the highlights

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan capped off their preseason friendly campaign in winning fashion as they scored four times and beat Serie C side Novara 4-2.

In the first half, summer signings Samuel Chukwueze and Noah Okafor each got themselves off the mark. The former showed great composure to round the goalkeeper and finish, while the latter thumped in a rebound from close range.

Captain Davide Calabria then marked his return from injury with a lovely strike from over 20 yards out in the second half, before Lorenzo Colombo finished off the scoring with a volley from just outside the edge of the box.

    1. When the reindeer does it, it’s great but when Adli does it, meh. What has the boy got to do to prove himself? Even a blind man can see how good Adli is but like Pioli said, “do you think I’d let someone on the field who doesn’t bla bla bla…”

  1. Adli should get a chance this year. With Bennacer out until january, we only have 5 MF: Musah, RLC, Tiji, Krunic and Pobega. He can play as a deep lying playmaker ala Pirlo or even as a mezzala. The boy has skils. I’m not saying he is a starter, not even over Krunic, be he can be a good squad player, and someone who can come on and make a change in play when we are locked and predicteble (as we often get with Pioli).

    Forza Milan, Forza Adli!
