Watch: Curva Sud chant Paolo Maldini’s name during Casa Milan protests

During their protests at Casa Milan earlier today, the Curva Sud chanted Paolo Maldini’s name before moving on to criticising the current members of the management.

Several thousand fans gathered at Casa Milan in the afternoon to voice their concerns about the future of the club. In addition to unveiling a new chant for certain members of the management, they also made their message clear with two big banners.

Before the Curva Sud capo spoke at length about the issues with the current management, however, the fans chanted ‘Paolo ale, Paolo Maldini’ over and over. Obviously, it was to show support for the club legend who was sacked by RedBird in 2023.

For many fans, admittedly, the consequences of Maldini’s departure have only become very evident in the last year or so. Perhaps you could say the Sandro Tonali sale was where it all changed. Nevertheless, Curva Sud’s chant is clearly a way of expressing how things were better before.

During tonight’s game against Monza, the fans will walk out of San Siro in the 15th minute, which will make for a very quiet atmosphere for the rest of the evening. It will also be yet another strong signal to the management.

  1. Now its some years too late to chant MALDINIS name, you needed to do it at that moment you knew they trying to get rid of him and Tonali.

  2. Are you not ashamed to be chanting that name? A legend got kicked out like that and y’all kept quiet so why chanting his name now? Bunch of wussies waiting for the next shiny toy from the mercato. Go about your protests and leave Maldini out of it. Afterall most fans say it’s a closed chapter. HYPOCRITES

    1. 100. And their so called leader even said

‘With Maldini we had cleared things out, Paolo is one of us.’

We all remember how they treated Maldini after his dismissal. A bland response to say the least. This kind of protest is at very the least they could do back then.

  3. This sh!t is WWWIIIILLLLLDDDDDD!!!
Of all the ppl to shout Maldini’s name given the history of the two. Thats how bad Gerry fcked up LMAO 🤣🤣🤣
But on the real, why they didn’t do that when they fired him? Nah, they let Gerry dangle some shiny things in their faces, make them forget Milan history for a second and they called it the best transfer window in years. And now just 2 years later…. shouting Paolo’s name. Gtfoh!

  4. Wish they would have done this when Maldini was fired – BUT – at least they have finally seen what most of us have – everything has gone downhill since Gerry made the mistake of firing the legend that is Paolo Maldini. We have yet to recover. This ownership and management are a disgrace. Scaroni Furlani Imran Moncada and Gerry – all need to go.

  5. Curva sud needs to STFU. They disrespect Maldini for years and didn’t do anything when Gerry fired him. Now they’re chanting his name? FOH!!!!

  6. Remember how they treat Maldini, Fonseca and now conceicao??!! This is amateur management, thats called bunch of clowns.. 🤣🤣🍻
